Building Regulations
The building regulations are set standards for new buildings, conversions, renovations, and extensions (domestic or commercial) ensuring the safety and health for people, together with assisting in the conservation of fuel and power.
A building regulations application is submitted to the local council or an approved independent inspector.
The full plans submission includes a set of drawings and specification for the project, comprising existing & proposed plans, elevations, sections, technical details, and specification of the proposed materials.
We will manage every aspect of your building control application:
- Laser measured survey of your existing building, including photographs.
- Preparation, drafting and designing of existing and proposed drawings (Floor plans, elevations, and sections) using AutoCad®.
- Should the project require the service of a structural engineer (separate fee will apply), we will work with them to complete the full design.
- Building control submission and application documentation.
- We act as the agent for the application, liaising with the building control body and dealing with all correspondence and any amendments.
- Gain approval.
We will work with the building control officer towards gaining the necessary approval for your project.
